Bottled water has serious environmental and social impacts. The ELG is asking students, faculty and others to sign the BOTTLE FREE UBC PLEDGE. The pledge reads as follows:
We, the undersigned, recognizing that bottled water has serious environmental and social impacts, pledge to not purchase bottled water until after November 30th, 2007. I agree to allow my name to be published on the Environmental Law Group’s website associated with this pledge, and to receive infrequent reminder emails and inquiries concerning the pledge (no other personal information will be published on the website and your information will not be shared).
