UBC Law Students' Society

The LSS maintains several distinct listservs, which it uses to send emails to UBC Law students, exchange students, and selected alumni and professors. Being a member of the mailing list is strictly voluntary.

To join the listserv, simply send an email to ubclaw@interchange.ubc.ca. In the body of your email, place your full name and your year in law or affiliation with the law school.

If you wish a message to be sent out over the listserv, send it to ubclaw@interchange.ubc.ca. Clearly indicate which years of law the message is to be sent to, and what you would like the subject line and the body text to be. All emails are reviewed for appropriateness, and the LSS reserves the right to refuse to distribute, without notice, any email it deems in its sole judgment inappropriate.

• During the school year most emails are sent within 12 hours.  Messages sent on holidays or during the summer may be subject to longer delays.  If your message is time-sensitive, you are strongly advised to contact the List Serv and request distribution at least 48 hours in advance.
• The LSS reserves the right to refuse distribution of any message that it deems inappropriate.  Any such determination will be made at the sole discretion of the LSS and without notice.
• No messages will be sent that are personal, political, offensive, or regarding activities unrelated to the student body at UBC Law.
• No Attachments!  Sorry, the weakly listserv can't handle them.
