UBC Law students produce a number of publications. Check them out, or join their staff!
Esoteric
Unlike any other publication in the legal community, Esoteric is for the artsy-fartsy, rather than the lawyer, in all of us. It was created by students at the UBC Faculty of Law in 2001, with the goal of encouraging creative expression in the legal field. Our contributors have ranged from law students and academics, to members of the bar and beyond, with submissions of photography, poetry, non-fiction, short stories, plays, song lyrics, and illustrations. If you are into the arts, publishing, design, or editing, then please check Esoteric out! Email: esotericmagazine@gmail.com or visit http://faculty.law.ubc.ca/esoteric/.
The Legal Eye
The Legal Eye is a student-run newspaper serving the UBC Law community and beyond. Its circulation includes former Justice Frank Iacobucci, Chief Justice Beverly McLachlin, over 80 Vancouver law firms, and BC Courts.
The Legal Eye is published once a month during the academic year. We welcome contributions of all kinds, including articles, book reviews, photos, announcements, interviews, editorials, and illustrations. Students, professors, alumni, and others in the legal community are invited to make submissions.
We also invite students to join our organizational team. We are especially looking for first and second year law students who wish to develop their marketing, design, editing, and publication skills.

The Legal Who
The Legal Who is a directory, complete with photos, names and contact information for all students, faculty and staff of UBC Law. It is published by the LSS in late fall. Keep an eye out for it, so you can put names to all the faces in class! For more information, email ubclaw@interchange.ubc.ca.
UBC Law Review
The UBC Law Review is a peer-reviewed journal published by the University of British Columbia Law Review Society, first published in 1949. The UBC Law Review Society publishes the biannual Review, as well as the Table of Statutory Limitations. Visit http://www.ubclawreview.org/.
